Repellents
This section of the website is all about great repellents. There are some great repellents that you can buy, but there are others that are easy to get and work well with keeping deer off your property without harming them. Lets start with the easy ones.
- First, an egg mixture (which includes garlic and cayenne pepper.)
- You need about 5 raw eggs, but you can change the number according to the amount desired
- These eggs will need to be thoroughly mixed with one gallon of water
- Mix with liquid soap, garlic, and cayenne peppers
- The mixture can be sprayed directly on the plants to repel the deer
- One other repellent that you can make is all natrual and organic. It has been throughly tested so we know that it works!
- This is made with peppers, onions, garlic, lemon juice, pepper, thyme, mint, oregano, dill, chives, and a smell of a predator
- Blend them up with a blender and put them in a spray bottle
Some household repellents
- Human hair - Put some hair in socks and hang the socks around the garden
- Guard Dogs
- Eggs and Egg Mixtures - 4-6 raw eggs mixed with one gallon of water sprayed directly on plants; you can also add liquid soap, cayenne pepper and garlic
- Soap
- Mothballs/Ammonia
